I am irresponsible
Is that too much?
Found my heart in the sewer-
Made it civil
I won't waste my time
I was sent a sign
Your career living evil
Has it too much
Found a fly in the steeple
It was free though
I won't waste my time
I was sent a sign

Four Starred Wagon

Soaking up sun is for liars.
Best one better start to run.
Best two better had bless that ancient
thrown from that four starred wagon.
Tales of youth from heads of old,
the men who sought that crown of gold.
At least they could impress....
They're bottled to ingest.
While it's true that I've been chasing a ghost
But it's you who has been tipping the boat.
Well I hope you can swim, 'cause I'm staying in
to watch the lion eat the
Rodent inside, is alarming.
Best one others start to run,
Best two better had check inside your robe
From that four-starred wagon.
Tales of youth, from heads of old
who never found that crown of gold.
At least they could impress....
With stories to ingest.
While it's true that I've been chasing a ghost
But it's you who has been tipping the boat.
Well I hope you can swim, 'cause I'm staying in
to watch the lion eat
While it's true that I've been chasing a ghost
But it's you who has been tipping the boat.
Well I hope you can swim, 'cause I'm staying in
to watch the lion eat the
While it's uh, it's true that I've been chasing a ghost
But it's you who has been tipping the boat.
Well I hope you can swim, 'cause I'm staying in
to watch the lion eat the mouse.

Blue Forest

Last time I woke up by the pool
Was just some daydream back in high school
Last time I tried to break a rule
I thought it'd help me play the blues
And it's getting harder to be
part of the forest when you're a tree
that bends and moans
You spun old records like a fool
Jumped to conclusions before it was cool
You'd junk an army's worth of clues
If it would help you play the blues
And it's getting harder to be
part of the forest when you're a tree
that bends and moans.

We bought our tickets to the show
Through some sleight of hand that
yellow man can only see our
Cigarettes and stubs
And with his wand's two magic tones
We raced into the superdome
Eleven dollars for a beer
That concession stand had
Forced our hand as clearly it's the
Only game in town
We wouldn't let that get us down
We took that shit and drank it down
We fought for 52nd row
Through some sleight of hand the tallest man fought
harder for a spot in 51
Though the stage I could not see
I'll watch it on my LCD screen
So far not one old song we know
Dressed in classic black with sequenced tracks to
Phone it in with choreographed flaws
Somehow I feel like going home
I raced out of that superdome
I saw my favorite band
They phoned it in again
I saw my favorite band
They're pandering to themselves
